Sep. 21, 2017 - Kyoei Steel Vietnam Company Limited announced the resumption of capacity expansion project. The new project will include electric arc furnace and bar steel production lines, with an expansion of annual capacity of 500,000 tons.  The construction will start at the end of 2017 and be completed in 2020, with total investment of 2 million US dollars.

It is reported that the company made the decision based on detailed investigation and analysis on local market, showing that the future development of Vietnam's economy is better prospects, the northern Vietnamese steel market demand is strong, and competition environment is better.
